A humanoid horse, BoJack Horseman -- lost in a sea of self-loathing and booze -- decides it's time for a comeback. Once the star of a '90s sitcom, in which he was the adoptive father of three orphaned kids (two girls and a boy). The show was the hottest thing around, then suddenly, was canceled. Now 18 years later, BoJack wants to regain his dignity. With the aid of a human sidekick and a feline ex-girlfriend who is his agent, he sets out to make it happen. But Hollywood is vastly different from those days, and getting used to stuff like Twitter may take some time. This first animated series from Netflix -- with plenty of references to sex, drugs and alcohol -- is not for the little ones.

Rachel Charlene Lewis Bitch Media I'm hopeful that the second part of the show's final season will... further shift from BoJack's limited lens and, instead, give these women the space, time, and justice they need to heal - on their terms. Mar 15, 2021 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Rolling Stone The last few episodes hit all the right, bittersweet notes, and make the entire journey feel richer for how smartly the show chose its ultimate destination. Feb 3, 2020 Full Review Alison Herman The Ringer The greatest accomplishment of BoJack Horseman is its reflection of the darker elements of the human experience and our ability to overcome them Feb 1, 2020 Full Review Michael Cuby them. BoJack depicts the unique ways in which marginalized people are forced to contend with a world that often doesn't feel designed for us. Nov 16, 2022 Full Review James McMahon NME (New Musical Express) Once again, Bojack is asking the societal questions that few TV shows are. Jul 14, 2021 Full Review Hannah Black 4Columns I binged BoJack during a lossy time in my life. I watched to absorb a truism in digestible cartoon form: the more we flail around trying to avoid the pain of loss, the more we lose. Sep 18, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Andrei D Seven seasons and a movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Cerdos C They ate and left no crumbs. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review David W The final season is a capstone worthy of a great show with a great run. For a host of reasons, I will be revisiting this season and this series again. It’s a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Bailey V best show to ever exist Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Chisa I Season 6 of Bojack Horseman was the longest for a reason. It served to wrap everything up, but not before leaving us with Bojack's much needed downfall. We have known that Bojack was a terrible person from the beginning, but he finally gets what's coming to him and it honestly is so refreshing; and it serves to tell the audience that "yeah bad people can get away with things, but they CAN get what's coming to them". The most important episode in the entire series I would say is "The View from Halfway Down". It really shows the deep struggle with addiction, I didn't get it on my first watch because I was so young, but coming back, it touched on all his struggles with being a bad person coupled with his addiction and depression. I can't talk any more highly of this season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Aliyah K One of the best shows to ever be created, The View From Halfway Down was one of the most beautifully written, directed and acted episodes to ever exist. No body will ever understand this show on the level that I understand it, not even the person that knows Victoria's secret will ever be able to understand this show on the LEVEL that I understand it.
