A humanoid horse, BoJack Horseman -- lost in a sea of self-loathing and booze -- decides it's time for a comeback. Once the star of a '90s sitcom, in which he was the adoptive father of three orphaned kids (two girls and a boy). The show was the hottest thing around, then suddenly, was canceled. Now 18 years later, BoJack wants to regain his dignity. With the aid of a human sidekick and a feline ex-girlfriend who is his agent, he sets out to make it happen. But Hollywood is vastly different from those days, and getting used to stuff like Twitter may take some time. This first animated series from Netflix -- with plenty of references to sex, drugs and alcohol -- is not for the little ones.

I'm hopeful that the second part of the show's final season will... further shift from BoJack's limited lens and, instead, give these women the space, time, and justice they need to heal - on their terms. Go to Full Review

The last few episodes hit all the right, bittersweet notes, and make the entire journey feel richer for how smartly the show chose its ultimate destination. Go to Full Review

I binged BoJack during a lossy time in my life. I watched to absorb a truism in digestible cartoon form: the more we flail around trying to avoid the pain of loss, the more we lose. Go to Full Review

Marcio D Nov 28 It’s a sanctimonious fanfiction of an outdated and pretentious psychology pseudoscience made so intellectually mediocre baboons can larp as intelligent and discerning people. See more Nathan L Nov 25 Review of all 6 Seasons BoJack Horseman is one of those rare shows that sneaks up on you. Told by a friend you remind them of a character. You start it expecting a cynical Hollywood satire with talking animals, and the somewhere along the way you realize you're watching one of the most honest, painful, and strangely hopeful explorations of loneliness, addiction, and self-destruction on TV. By the time Season 6 arrives, the show has grown into something bigger than its premise, it become a mirror you're not always ready to look into but can't turn away from. Across all six seasons, the series balances humor with heartbreak in a way that feels almost surgical. it doesn't glamorize depression or redeem its characters just for the sake of a happy ending. Instead, it shows growth as something uneven, fragile, and deeply human. Season 6, in particular, feels like the emotional payoff of everything that came before it. It's slower and heavier, but it earns every moment. It forces BoJack to actually face himself, not just his worst mistakes, but the version of him he's been running from since episode one. What surprised me was how much the show made me feel seen. Not in a comforting way, but in a uncomfortable but necessary way. It hits you with truths about guilt, forgiveness, and the kind of change that doesn't magically fix everything. Some episodes left me sitting in silence after the credits. Others made me laugh way louder than I expected. And the final conversation on the rooftop, quiet, unresolved, honest, it felt like the perfect ending for a show that never pretended life gives you clean answers. Its not perfect, but it's intentional. It's messy, but it's real. And even though it left me feeling hollow in some moments and hopeful in others, I'm glad I watched it. BoJack Horseman is a brutal, brilliant, unforgettable show. See more Emery D. @emariee Sep 8 show ranks up there with breaking bad. See more Chala A. @Chaka156 Aug 17 This season broke my heart. It’s the best finale in history of series movies. See more 0 0. @mvenetto Jul 10 A beautiful end to a beautiful show See more Camila S Jan 3 One of the best and animations I have seen. With a warm ending. I had a lot of mixed feelings related to the characters, but I must say, I have not seen anything that explorers so much multifaceted character of a person, and in the end noone is good. They are only what they are with good and very bad sides. See more Read all reviews
