Amber Dowling Globe and Mail There’s nothing groundbreaking about the format, but that’s exactly why the show will be comforting to the procedural seekers out there who just want to know what kind of a cop drama they’re getting into. Oct 27, 2025 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal If you miss it, it’s OK, because the writing is such that the storyline gets reintroduced after every commercial break. Oct 22, 2025 Full Review Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times Crowds will be pleased. I have no complaints myself. Oct 21, 2025 Full Review Monique Jones Common Sense Media Regardless of how entertaining it is, Boston Blue feels like the next level in "copaganda." Rated: 3/5 Nov 4, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider The first episode of Boston Blue twists itself into storytelling knots to get Donnie Wahlberg’s Blue Bloods character working with the Boston PD, and the way the Silver family is constructed feels equally as contrived. Oct 22, 2025 Full Review Brittany Frederick TVBrittanyF.com Boston Blue is essentially Blue Bloods repeating itself with a different family in a different city—which sets up a catch-22. On merit, it would have made more sense to market this as a standalone show. Rated: C Oct 18, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Tanya R I'm enjoying Boston Blue especially the interwoven storylines and the Shabbat dinner on Friday nights. However, they need to get someone who speaks Hebrew to help them with pronunciation. They are mangling some of the Hebrew. It makes me cringe. Otherwise, the show is off to a good start. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/10/25 Full Review Leo W Its a great show with new dynamics and I have enjoyed every episode so far. It has the same premise as the previous show with values and good story lines so Im not sure why people are crapping on it. Its really good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/09/25 Full Review Karen F The audience would have been better served if CBS had renewed Blue Bloods instead of giving us this crap. It's as dreadful as the original was fabulous. The writing is lame and the acting not much better. I'm going back to watch Blue Bloods from the first episode and thankful for reruns. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/09/25 Full Review Dave J I was hopeful as Blue Bloods is good. This one is not. Acting is not great but even worse is the forced nonsense. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/05/25 Full Review Terri S A strong and promising spinoff to Blue Bloods. I’m honestly surprised by the negative audience reviews so far - I’m really enjoying it. It captures the heart of the original while giving Danny a fresh new chapter. It may still be finding its rhythm, but the potential is definitely there. I hope it enjoys the same kind of success as its predecessor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/25 Full Review T Z I had high hopes for this show. I thought I would be hooked when they revealed that indeed Danny and Baez got together. However it has failed to make a impression on me. I have stuck to it watching each new episode but Im getting less and less intriged. The dynamics between characters is lack luster at best. Trying to keep the blue blood theme of family isn't flying. The actor playing Sean really needs to find some piazz. Should of found an actor that looked more the part. Sean should have more energy. His parnter doesnt play well. I think it is because the lack of depth from Sean's character. Jonas could be better served by replacing Sean with an actor that cares for his role. What's up with Danny's parnter She is dull, boring and needs help. Danny's parnter should be someone that can pull her weight and stand up to Danny's demeaner. I am going to give this Fridays epsiode more last try. Will see but it appears I am going to sign off and respect what blie bloods was. Miss blue bloods dearly!!!
