See more Peter E Nov 27 I love Blue Bloods. I re-watched the whole series from start to finish. I was so elated to find out that Boston Blue was spun off Blue Bloods. I watched the first four episodes of Boston Blue. At first it was wonderful to se Danny Regans boy become a policeman, then to see his aunti(Bridget Moynahan) show up at the hospital. Everything afterwords was downhill. Just because Blue Bloods had a family get together dinner scene, it looks like the producer of Boston Blue had to copy the same. Now it was a cocktail of Judaism with Evangelical. On a 1 to 10 on the Cringe Meter it was a 20! Then all the DEI hires showed up. Anywhere and everywhere. They couldn't find a tough policeman in Boston so they had to import him from New York. If this program is to be successful, they need to drop the family dinner with the religious cocktail nonsense (notice I avoided using any reference to bovine products), they should eliminate 50% of the DEIs, get some tough Bostonian policemen on board and come up with original stories and conflicts. I personally will NOT watch Boston Blue until season 2 E1 is aired, then I will evaluate if there is any improvement on S1. Good luck. But for now Boston Blue scores minus 10 on a scale of 0 to 10!!!
