[The action] never escalates into the grand, high-wire, socially subversive physical comedy we expect from Atkinson. Instead, we just get a nauseatingly schmaltzy and nonsensical dose of Christmas cheer helmed by a kind-hearted, capable man.

Those who were taken aback with how poor Man vs Bee was will delight in how Atkinson and co-creator Will Davies stage the gentle slapstick mayhem against a pretty strong story...Just the thing for a pleasant post-festive wind-down.

…Rowan Atkinson is a beloved comic who probably doesn’t need to bother proving himself anymore, but if you enjoy the physical routines he’s made his own unique preserve, it’s hard to fault Man vs Baby, an ideal vehicle for his undoubted talents…

I want more! Man vs Bee was better I thought- more Mr Bean style but this one had the same Rowan Atkinson humor but showed a lot of heart as well!

The program was good enough for me to watch all episodes but this was not a classic or memorable as you would expect from Rowan Atkinson's normal folly despite the fact he was pretty good throughout but the comedy was often too predictable. A nice easy watch but past its sell by date once the xmas magic has gone which it has by now of course but overall it was good just not amazing

I appreciate the short episodes. It wasn't bad. But it's often a pointless back and forth. The baby serves as a metaphor for bringing all kinds of people together to enjoy christmas. But the message does not need to be that explicit in giving him also the nickname Jesus. For a quick watch it's ok. However, do not except some quality TV. The humor is dry and characters are just there for convenience

Predictably Atkinson brings out elements of Mr Bean here but with more depth and of course a voice! It's a great script and holds the viewer throughout. The part that makes this series so brilliant is the fabulous ending.
