Synopsis
In a six-part miniseries, journalist Andrew Marr presents the U.K. from a strikingly new perspective. He takes to the skies to research past and present British life, from how London looked in the 1940s compared to modern times, to the changes in the nation's industrial landscape. Given a bird's eye view, Marr shows how Britain looks very different from above, its workings, cities, landscapes and peoples revealed and re-discovered in new and extraordinary ways. Advanced technology also allows viewers to see through cloud cover and witness familiar sights as never seen before.
