Buddy Valastro spends a lot of time in bakeries running his cake empire. Like anyone who works long hours, he still needs to put aside some time to have fun with his family. This series documents the Valastros as they head into an RV to take a memorable summer road trip through the South. Buddy, wife Lisa and their four children begin in their home state of New Jersey, then head south through South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Louisiana as they experience some of the best things the region has to offer. A slice of Americana is on the itinerary in the form of visits to Graceland and Dollywood and, of course, the master baker includes food in his vacation plans. Buddy and his family make saltwater taffy the old-fashioned way in Myrtle Beach, enjoy a crab platter and fried chicken in Georgia, and sample etouffee in New Orleans.
