88% 24 Reviews Tomatometer 94% 100+ Ratings Audience Score Michael Westen is steamed -- or, more precisely, burned. His career as a spy ends when he gets a "burn notice," the covert equivalent of a pink slip. Kelly Lawler USA Today The USA espionage dramedy starring Jeffrey Donovan offers is good for picking up some spy tips, good for watching while you fold laundry and a good reminder you why you want to live in a beach town. Nov 10, 2021 Full Review Jonathan Storm Philadelphia Inquirer Looking for some summertime fun? It is Burn Notice... It combines the lively silliness from scores of shows that have gone before. Dec 7, 2018 Full Review Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times The dialogue is always to the point, yet it gives even the bit players enough room to create something memorable. Oct 27, 2017 Full Review J.M. Suarez PopMatters One of Burn Notice's most successful choices involves the use of on location shooting in Miami. The city is used exceedingly well in establishing a distinct environment that goes beyond the usual South Beach shots. Rated: 6/10 Dec 7, 2018 Full Review Michael Abernethy PopMatters Westen is decidedly unoriginal, despite and because he is granted stylish action sequences. Rated: 5/10 Dec 7, 2018 Full Review Emma Matthews Den of Geek Creator Matt Nix has managed to produce a show that's both familiar and original, uses some fantastic dramatic devices, and always stays the right side of snarky.
