Synopsis
This 26-episode series, shot entirely on location at chef John Besh's home outside New Orleans, focuses on the joys of cooking at home. The award-winning chef and restaurateur explains that cooking at home helps nourish and strengthen a family's bond. With each meal he prepares, Besh preserves and promotes ingredients, techniques and the heritage of South Louisiana. Some recipes include ginger-poached trout, crabmeat eggplant dressing, heirloom tomato soup and jalapeno cheese grits.
