Josh Temple hosts this fixer-upper series that takes an unusual tack. Armed with a home that's slated for demolition, Temple and the "Disaster House" crew then burn it, flood it, and punch holes in it, all for the ultimate purpose of repairing it. Sure, much of the inflicted abuse is over the top: Most homes don't have an 8,000-pound elephant that clogs the toilet, or suffer the misfortune of a falling piano crashing through their roof. While the situations that caused the damage sound like they came out of a Warner Bros. cartoon, the repairs demonstrated are most assuredly real, which should help out homeowners dealing with actual catastrophes of their own.
