This show used to be a fun fantasy travel romance until they kept recycling the same inane plot points, fights over a simple misunderstanding that a one-minute conversation would resolve, then shoving new people onto each character, then shoving them off into outer space. Get together, break up, get together, break up. Gee, wonder what happens next? Have a little respect for the audience, everyone is not always high, drunk, or stupid.
If the show runner won’t put this show out of its misery, the viewers will. A sad, ridiculously unnecessary way to destroy a nice series, next time hire good writers and pay them well.

A slower, milder approach which peaks with a trip around the picturesque Rome. But the series forgets we first fell in love with Paris, and Emily in Rome doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Emily in Paris was always a fun show to watch until season 4. Up until now, it was a light romance show and it turned out to be a frustrating drama mess. Every couple of the show now has a big drama story aound it: Emily's, Mindy's, Camille's and Sylvie's. Love triangle at every corners removes all the fun from the show. They need to bring a lighter story back to the show... And Emily has been in France for a few years now, how come she's not even close to being able to understand French?
Also, since when did Gabriel started smoking? It's 2024, we don't need cigarettes to tell a story.

It’s just a charming, binge worthy show that allows one to get lost in the scenery, beautiful clothes and watch the romance. Not every show on TV has to be dark, curse filled or drama intense, which leaves one feeling depressed and anxiety ridden.
It has some laugh out loud moments, and at the end of the day, it makes me feel happy and that’s what life should hold.
