      Season 2 – Ghosts

2022 Comedy TRAILER for Ghosts: Season 2 Extended Trailer List
100% 9 Reviews Tomatometer 88% 100+ Ratings Audience Score Samantha, a cheerful freelance journalist, and Jay, an up-and-coming chef from the city, throw both caution and money to the wind when they decide to convert a huge run-down country estate they inherited into a bed and breakfast -- only to find it's inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents. The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer, a pompous 1700's Militiaman, a '60s hippie fond of hallucinogens and an overly upbeat '80s scout troop leader. If the spirits were anxious about the commotion a renovation and B&B will create in their home, it's nothing compared to when they realize Samantha is the first live person who can see and hear them. Previous Brian Lowry CNN.com Although the show employs a single-camera format, “Ghosts” possesses all the virtues of an old-style ensemble sitcom, with the added benefit of being able to weave in new characters and issue callbacks involving older ones. May 12, 2023 Full Review Kelly Lawler USA Today You can keep your scary ghosts this Halloween. I'll take the sitcom variety. 3/4 Sep 29, 2022 Full Review Max Gao AV Club With the right combination of broad comedy and heartfelt humor, Ghosts has avoided the infamous sophomore slump, continuing to breathe new life into an old-age premise that will survive as long as the writers don’t forget its strong bones. A- Sep 28, 2022 Full Review Kevin Carr Fat Guys at the Movies A well-balanced sit-com that doesn’t belabor its premise but rather mines plenty of laughs from its bizarre cast of characters. 3/4 Dec 30, 2023 Full Review Tania Hussain Collider ... the single-camera comedy continues to prove it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Previous Nathan N Love this show! Best show on broadcast television right now. The writing and character development are great. I have to admit the first season was a little better then the second, but it's still great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Cellomomma B It started out fun, but why must TV shows devolve into sex talk and sex motives? Is it because the writers don't know how to express original ideas or themes? Or are the producers forcing the writers to write about sex because sex sells? This consumer isn't buying. I stopped watching after the 3rd episode. I'll spend my time engaging my brain with thoughtful inspiring ideas instead of this mind-in-the-gutter script writing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review KerryWhite's S Rating: 7/10. 78/100 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Taylor D Funny, witty, original! The whole cast just makes the show better and better and you never know if another ghost will pop up! The actors found their footing after the first few episodes and now it's solid. Such a great comedy comfort show. My husband and I never like the same things (other than Bob's Burgers- duh) but with Ghosts we can sit down and rewatch 1000xs. I need 20 seasons ordered asap! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/23 Full Review Annima U A catching plot, with amazing lines. It's great to see how the characters develop and evolve dispite being dead. The best TV series I have seen in years Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review Geoffrey G Continuing right along from season one, the humour remains vibrant and well written and performed, along with ongoing character developments that easily could have been overlooked.
