Jane Simon Daily Mirror (UK) Series two has had its patchy moments but the final episode... ends on another typically surreal cliff-hanger -- and a real shocker that will leave fans gagging for Green Wing's return. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Roxanne Sancto Paste Magazine Reserve the coming weekend to immerse yourself in the outlandish world of Green Wing and within no time you will kiss the ground Mark Heap walks on! Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Rachel Meaden Den of Geek The clear affection from those involved and the willingness to embrace the show's idiosyncrasies make it an absolute joy. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Scotsman Staff Scotsman At least Richard Curtis writes actual jokes, whereas Green Wing has always been more interested in showing off how desperately cutting-edge it is with its self-conscious surrealism, pointless camera trickery and scratchy lo-fi soundtrack. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Michael Hewitt Orange County Register It doesn't get the publicity of "The Office" or "Coupling," but "Green Wing" is every bit as funny. It can be hard for Americans to get into because of the thick accents and breakneck pacing, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Test T I watched series 1 and really enjoyed it, until the last episode which I thought was to OTT. This series 2 picks up where the first series ended, and sadly it's not as good. The characters are the same of course, but the comedy is starting to go stale with few new ideas. I also thought that the incest based storyline was mostly in bad taste, and nowhere near as funny as some of the other themes. I think this lack of fresh content is why the franchise ended with this series 2. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
