Zaki Hasan TheWrap Boy, is it great to have him back — even if only to say goodbye. Jul 5, 2023 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal The plot is ornate enough, and paranoia-quotient sufficient, to propel the six-episode season. It may even satisfy our appetite until the next Jack Ryan, inevitably, comes along. Jun 30, 2023 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal Strong even as its labyrinthine plot is compressed into two fewer episodes. It also integrates the question of institutional integrity in interesting ways. Every avenue for meaningful progress, it argues, has a dangerous, blindsiding intersection. Rated: 3.5/5 May 1, 2024 Full Review Bhuvanesh Chandar The Hindu John Krasinski’s last mission is well set-up. Aug 25, 2023 Full Review Jeanine T. Abraham VisAbleBlackwoman (Medium) The storytelling in Jack Ryan season 4 is just as well-crafted as the previous seasons. The spy storylines are complex and engaging, and they don’t rely on tired old tropes like Russia vs. USA or China vs. Rated: 3.5 out of 5 Jul 21, 2023 Full Review Jackie K. Cooper jackiekcooper.com John Kracinski has never made a good Jack Ryan. But it has always been about the supporting cast and in season four the supporting cast is stellar. Take a bow Michael Pena. Brian C The first 2 seasons were entertaining. Season 4 is what TV shows look like when they're desperately trying to give the show closure as quick as possible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Nathaniel H Best season since the first. Maybe the best of all. Really taut, intense pacing. Well done! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Kolby G Great storyline. Great acting. Great casting. Definitely a must watch show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Audience Member Love these shows. Well written, entertaining, great characters. Love the dynamic between the core group of characters and have enjoyed watching their relationships change and develop. We will miss these shows! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Richard M I have no idea how this season has the highest ratings, it was the worst by far. Really poor writing, the complete opposite of 'brainy thrills'. Massive threat dealt with amateurishly by only 6 (often incredibly young & unconvincing) members of the CIA (never even bothered to use a 'this needs to be kept between us' plot armour), with zero self awareness and most of the time zero resources. Bizarre, was hard to watch till the very end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Sunday Night Streaming o Jack Ryan Season 4 - 7.7 - So this was the final season and I think it did a good job ending the story with one last big bang. Every season is about the same, Jack breaks protocol on instinct and makes quick judgment calls, he then finds himself in a boatload of trouble and they find there way out of it. This season was no different, but against I found myself enjoying every episode. The biggest issue I have with the season is that it is only 6 episodes long. They did deliver the season promptly from season 3 but only 6 episodes is far too short. Jack and Greer are terrific as they are in every season, but the new addition of Chavez was a nice touch. He added a new develop as a straight like killer, and really added a great element to this season. It is a bit cheesy at times, but the adventure they go on is worth it all. The torture scene at the end was a little much, but I guess it really showed what happens in these interrogations. I am sad to see this series come to an end and excited for everything that is to come from John Krasinski next. Still crazy to me that is the same actor from the office that is now blossomed to this action star.
