Even if you tell a person is lying, its useless without real evidence. Show is always on fast track and thats not how things work. Its a show just like The mentalist and both shows are simply garbage. This show lost its value after first few episodes because there was nothing knew. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Lukas K Based on actual research by Paul Elkman, Lie to Me tells the story of perception researcher Dr. Cal Lightman and his team of experts who help government agencies, but also wealthy private customers or organizations to solve lies and fraud. Lightman and his team primarily use the precise analysis of facial expressions and gestures. A twitch of the eyebrows or corners of the mouth can tell Lightman that the other person is lying. In addition, they use special interrogation techniques to obtain information from witnesses and suspects. In doing so, they do not use violence, but rather carefully crafted questions, provocations and deliberate deceptions. "Lie to Me" is a series with a really strong concept and strong characters.
