While Chris Pratt fully commits himself to the The Terminal List's mission, this thriller's unrelenting gruffness is no meat and all potatoes.

Robert Levin Newsday In the days before the streaming revolution, "The Terminal List" would have been turned into a big screen summer action blockbuster and over and done within about two hours. Instead, audiences are being asked to stick with it for hours of bingeing. Rated: 3/4 Jul 8, 2022 Full Review Rebecca Onion Slate The Terminal List is a classic American fantasy about the goodness of the SEALs, the corruption of high-level government officials and corporate shills, and the purifying quality of righteous violence. Jul 8, 2022 Full Review Olly Richards Empire Magazine If you enjoyed Jack Ryan and Reacher, this is the show the algorithm would say you should watch next. Ignore it. Rated: 2/5 Jul 5, 2022 Full Review Pramit Chatterjee Digital Mafia Talkies Every episode is like a blockbuster-level action film, complete with practical effects, intricate stunt work, and lots and lots of explosions. Rated: 4/5 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Martin Carr Yahoo! Movies Nothing can prepare audiences for the dire concoction of cliches, which ensure The Terminal List is dead on arrival. May 21, 2023 Full Review Alex Maidy JoBlo's Movie Network The Terminal List likely would have worked far better as a feature film or maybe a limited series of no more than four to six episodes. As it stands, this story is overlong and ploddingly told and somehow makes revenge feel bland and boring. Rated: 6/10 Aug 9, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Markus T This series has the magic of early 2000s movies. It's entertainment without politics or agenda. Highly recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Felipe S Love the books. The series should have followed the storyline from the book instead of improvising. Still gonna watch though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/21/25 Full Review Gregory S Yet another excellent piece of entertainment that lets the Idiocracy of critics shine. This is a great action show! Great story, great action, awesome characters, and redemption. It also shines the light on an area that critics probably know nothing about - PTSD. So, yet again, screw the critics and watch it, it’s worth it. This is a show that we actually want to watch. Take notice DISNEY. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/25 Full Review Richard B I wish I had listened to the reviewers who recommended against it (and ignored the reviewers who said silly things like “those who dislike it are regurgitating nonsense” or "haven’t watched it"). I will never get back those eight hours. It’s an interesting story if you’re bored and don’t care about the plot holes, the repeated digressions, and the wasted time. Yes, it has compelling moments. Every time something new pops up, I wanted to keep watching to see where it went. And every time Reece seemed to win, killing another bad guy, it turns out there were more bad guys behind that one, so I was never quite able to stop. Instead of “winning”, it just got worse with each new revelation. For every compelling scene or twist, there were 10-20 minutes or more of nonsense. If this had been filmed as a two-hour movie, it would have been okay, not great. At eight hours, it is teeth-grindingly boring. It says something when the highlights of the show are probably Reece’s wife (who dies in the beginning) and the reporter. The other highlight is the CIA agent Ben, but since he turns out to be a bad guy as well, all the time invested in him is wasted. All the corrupt bad guys do meet their deserved ends, but it ends up being a story of powerful, connected, corrupt people in positions of power, hidden behind layers of lies, chased and eventually killed by Reece. Someone lost the thread, over and over, particularly with Reece constantly losing focus (due to the brain tumor created by those corrupt officials), instead of keeping the story moving quickly to resolution. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/09/25 Full Review Red H It is a great action thriller. A must watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Larry P WARNING: highly recommend to watch this show on a weekend or you will be functioning on little to no sleep. This is one of those shows that as soon as one episode ends you feel a compulsion to start the next. It used to be that rotten tomatoes reviews could be trusted. This clearly isn’t the case anymore, this show is a prime example... This show is excellent and full of action. The acting is phenomenal, accounts from real navy seals say it is extremely realistic. It is surely worth the watch if action is your thing. Especially if you’re a guy who is sick of the modern action thrope that cater to a crazy leftists fever dream.
