Each episode features two duos who compete to identify five-letter mystery words. The contestants are given the first letter of each word and have five chances to complete the word. Each correct word earns the team points and a chance at more points by getting a "lingo," a line consisting of five in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally on a bingo-style game board.
