Melanie McFarland Salon.com Miracle Workers: Dark Ages, though noticeably better than its predecessor, rarely rises above the level of sweet and easily enjoyable. That's fine. Jan 29, 2020 Full Review Carol Midgley Times (UK) Despite [Steve] Buscemi's weighty presence it still feels like a small comedy, punching below its weight. Rated: 3/5 Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Danette Chavez AV Club The philosophical comedy may seem slight compared to The Good Place, but Miracle Workers reckons with many of the same questions about goodness and free will. Rated: B Jan 27, 2020 Full Review Zehra Phelan 2 Minute Telly There is nothing remarkable or even fresh about the series. The joke becomes stale with too much airing as it's revisited time and again with a script that's neither clever nor ultimately funny. Rated: 4/10 Jul 22, 2020 Full Review Kevin Lever Tell-Tale TV It's not trying to reinvent the wheel, and it really doesn't need to. What it does is create an atmosphere of fun that goes a long way, combining that with a medieval setting and characters that are flawed to the bone. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 29, 2020 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Miracle Workers: Dark Ages may not have that satisfying story arc that the show's first season has, but Viswanathan is a great lead and the characters are well-established by the end of the first episode. Craig B Good fun series featuring Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, with each series spanning a different era, starting with a present day workplace, medieval times, the wild west and ending up in a post apocalyptic world. One to be enjoyed with your brain being fully switched off. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Andrei D Fast, smart, and funny Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Mur This season is one of their best, so many funny moments. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/05/23 Full Review Kevin E This season really sold me on the series. So funny! I love the mix and match of everything and everyone. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Ryan M So fun! Re-watchable Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/28/23 Full Review Charles H I didn't care for this season and gave up on it after 3 episodes. To be fair, I have a generally low tolerance for medieval dramas, comedy or otherwise. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
