      Season 8 – Modern Family

      2016 Comedy List
Reviews 86% 100+ Ratings Audience Score Told from the perspective of an unseen documentary filmmaker, the series offers an honest, often-hilarious perspective of family life. Parents Phil and Claire yearn for an honest, open relationship with their three kids. But a daughter who is trying to grow up too fast, another who is too smart for her own good, and a rambunctious young son make it challenging. Claire's dad, Jay, and his Latina wife, Gloria, are raising two sons together, but people sometimes believe Jay to be Gloria's father. Jay's gay son, Mitchell, and his partner, Cameron, have adopted a little Asian girl, completing one big -- straight, gay, multicultural, traditional -- happy family. Nora Williamson Tell-Tale TV The comedy... is contrived and much of it falters. There isn't much heart, either. Lasse L It's alright. A few good episodes once in a while. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Kelis F A great show to watch and even rewatch. The comedy is great and the love of the family makes it heartwarming. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Fella Z Realy good, the performances are really good. The kids and Jesse Tyler Ferguson very talented actors. All the others are really good as well. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/22 Full Review Audience Member Still features very solid entertaining episodes, but no stand outs and now feels a bit stale and uninspired, because the characters are so endearing and the actors always do their best, this show can never become unwatchable but it had to lose originality and run out of steam at some point. However the end of this season does provide a nice stepping off point as characters start to grow up more, first time the series felt like it was coming to an ending point, so its good, but all the previous seasons were great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this series, never laughed so much. The old seasons even have a relatively modern humor for the fact that the series was released in 2009. Watched the first episode and knew I was going to watch all 250 episodes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member excellent series, with very good plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
