Synopsis

The series incorporates interviews with eyewitnesses (astronauts John Glenn and Neil Armstrong among them) and original NASA mission footage that has been transferred to high-definition clarity. Actor Gary Sinise, who portrayed astronaut Ken Mattingly in "Apollo 13," narrates.
