Daniel D'Addario Variety Repellent and noxiously loud, “Paul American” confuses volume -- ostentatiousness, relentlessness, shamelessness -- for star quality, in precisely the same way YouTube culture does. Mar 27, 2025 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media This obnoxious series features Jake and Logan Paul constantly self-promoting and aggrandizing themselves every chance they get. Apr 2, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider We don’t need more Paul bothers content, and Paul American really doesn’t give enough insight into Jake and Logan’s lives to make us want to keep watching. Kennen N I wonder whose dead body they will film this time, or old man they will pick to fight, or fast food minimum wage employee they choose to harass next. Loud doesn't equal funny and being douches doesn't make you funny either. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/25 Full Review stas c The show isn't bad at all. Most people just hate because they're jealous. The Paul brothers live a lavish lifestyle that most people would do anything for. Their personas are incredible for what they do. Put the online hate past you and take a look at what they're actually doing. Jake brought hundreds of thousands of fans to boxing, if not more - has helped women's boxing more than anyone before. Logan is also an entrepreneur and is doing an incredible job in WWE. Forget about their online personas, look beyond that and you'll realize that they're not that bad - despite their tough relationship with their dad. Instead of judging and jumping on the hate wagon that gen z started, give the show a chance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/07/25 Full Review Nicolas L The Paul Brothers have a tendency to try to see who can be the most bland and narcissistic, the only surprise the entire time was that their father won. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Thomas O I don’t even know where to begin with how bad Paul American is. I genuinely thought it might be at least entertaining in a trashy, guilty-pleasure kind of way. Nope. It’s just trash - minus the pleasure. This is one of the most vapid, self-indulgent, and painfully staged “reality” shows I’ve ever seen. The Paul brothers try so hard to look deep or relatable, but it’s all surface-level nonsense. Every scene feels scripted, every emotional moment feels forced, and there’s zero substance. It’s like watching an extended YouTube vlog with better lighting, but somehow even more obnoxious. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. Drama? Insight? Anything? Instead, I got the same tired “look at how successful and misunderstood we are” narrative over and over again. It’s honestly insulting how little effort went into making this feel real or compelling. If you’re already a hardcore Jake or Logan Paul fan, maybe you’ll enjoy this, but if you were hoping for an actual documentary or a deeper look into their lives, forget it. It’s just a long, boring PR stunt stretched across episodes that all feel the same. 1 star - and that’s me being generous because at least the cameras were in focus. Do yourself a favor and skip this. Seriously. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Ruben G Wow there’s a lot of people hating here, As a 39 year old man I’m honestly not hating AT ALL. Didn’t like Jake much before this but after seeing how he is outside of the ring he’s a good kid, A successful one. So is Logan, I’m not jealous of things like this we should uplift each other. I’ve been watching and enjoying, it’s reality tv not a cinematic masterpiece, The kids and the hate for these successful men is insane. I have a family like this and a wife like this so I relate to it, only with less money. Great little reality show, watch it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Kaelin M I really am enjoying I didn’t like Jake at all before this show and wasn’t a fan of Logan either but after seeing this they really are dedicated to there work and all the work they put in to be at the top of there game, I would now say I am a fan of the 2 of them, I found it give a good insight into there life and the way there family and friends are I would recommend this l, but I can understand people who wouldn’t be into it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/30/25 Full Review Read all reviews
