JP P An incredible, talented cast and very good production make this show the best adaptation of Rick Riordan's work. The characters are charismatic, the setting is excellent and the universe of the series is captivating. Kids. Show. So if you're expecting a show aimed at at more mature children. There were some changes made to keep the show going, I finished each episode wanting to see more. Where is the moment when Grover Underwood created an empathy link between himself and Percy? Where's the moment when Poseidon tells Percy that Sally is a queen among mortals? Why did Percy treat Poseidon with such disdain when in the books he grew to care for his Godly parent as the book progressed on? Why didn't Chiron explain to Percy about the nature of how the Gods moved from civilization to civilization whenever the Flame of the west moved to the next country that is strongest? These are major plot points including the moment when Grover and his mother warned Percy about the danger of speaking a name as names have power; for even speaking them can make that creature stronger. I sincerely hope that the next season can correct the previous season or I'm done with it and will just go back to the books.
