Sundays are a day for family members to gather and spend time with one another, including at the dinner table. That's why Joseph Simmons -- better known as Run-DMC frontman Rev Run -- and his wife, Justine, are trying to revive the tradition of having Sunday suppers with friends and family. With four of the couple's six kids grown and now living on their own, the Simmons house feels kind of empty. So the parents are using simple, heartfelt recipes to try to get the kids -- and some special guests -- back to the table for weekly family meals. As Joseph and Justine prepare the dinners, they share recipes with their kids to be passed on to future generations. No matter how good the food is, the Simmons' philosophy is that the perfect family meal is more about who is sitting at the table than the food that is on it.
