Synopsis
This competition series features artists from around the United Kingdom competing for the opportunity to earn a spot at the "punnily" named "Show Me the Monet" grand exhibition in London, where members of the public and art insiders, alike, bid on the artwork. But in order to make it into the exhibition and a chance to earn serious cash, the hopefuls must face the Hanging Committee, a group of three judges. The pieces of art the contestants put up for the judges' critique include paintings and sculptures. Longtime British sports personality Chris Hollins hosts the show, which features the judging trio of art critic Charlotte Mullins, art historian David Lee and art dealer Roy Bolton.
