Synopsis
Critic and art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon travels from the south to the north of Spain to learn more about its art history. His journey begins in Moorish country with a visit to beautiful palaces and mosques, continues to majestic Madrid to trace the rise and fall of the Spanish Empire, and concludes with a look at how northern Spain is responsible for some of the most dazzling and iconic art of the modern age.
