Previous Scott Bryan BBC.com If it was just that bit shorter it would be a bit punchier. Not a Must Watch Sep 26, 2022 Full Review James Jackson Times (UK) As before the grittier moments can jar, but Merchant’s cringe-character Greg, Christopher Walken’s wiseguy Frank and Eleanor Tomlinson’s fragile influencer Gabby remain a hoot... Aug 5, 2022 Full Review Carol Midgley Times (UK) ... Firing on all cylinders and teeming with quality awkwardness and filth. 4/5 Jun 9, 2022 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut The second season of The Outlaws is a mildly enjoyable caper at its best when Stephen Merchant and Jessica Gunning are on screen. 3/5 Jan 3, 2023 Full Review James Field Pajiba Stephen Merchant’s The Outlaws pulls off a nearly seamless switch from comedy to crime drama with comedic elements. Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Rick Marshall Digital Trends Season 2 of The Outlaws delivers an increasingly tense, fast-paced conclusion to the lead characters’ saga that’s lighter on laughs but filled with strong performances and smart twists. Previous David E The show is ridiculous and implausible at times but the cast is great with some very sharp dialog. We'll worth checking out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Hieronymus B Offbeat, enjoyable, entertaining and though it's a mishmash of genres the casting is excellent. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review Chuck Johnny G Worth watching for Merchant and Walken, but aside from that the breaking bad style plot is silly. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Kevin M Just as good as Season 1 - bring on S3 please. One of the best shows I've seen in some time. It's like the UK Office in terms of combining real, flawed, wonderfully acted characters that you care about with tremendous comedy. It's less over-the-top but just as funny. But it's also great as a serious crime show. It's adrenalizing when it goes into action mode, clever when it's in mystery mode, and always smart and funny. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/15/22 Full Review laurie f I really got into this series. Smart, funny, absurd and entertaining. Great ensemble cast and as silly as it is, it's also quite moving and suspenseful. I wish I'd have paced myself better. I binged it and now I'm exhausted, but "you have to jump out of the plane to jump out of the plane"...was that the Dalai Lama? Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Funnier than season 1, plot is a bit worse than 1 but great acting makes up for it. Lol at the people leaving half star ratings. I swear audience scores are people just auto leaving half stars if they don't like something, Even in the slightest. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Next Post a review
