Critics Consensus
The hunter becomes prey in You's London-set fourth season, which shows some wear as this premise begins to outlive its believability -- but Penn Badgley's sardonic performance continues to paper over most lapses in logic.

4h agoI hear a lot of criticism about the way this season ended and strongly disagree. I think the new way of ending things will bring freshness and new motives in the picture keeping the series going for another season or 2. Great season

11h agoNetflix continues to tell the story of a dark version of love (lower case l) the last two seasons were the upper case L and were my favorite two seasons. Joe Goldberg has become someone new in a new place once again. I actually really enjoyed this season almost as much as season 2 and 3. The first half had some tonal issues but the second half was really well done delving into who Joe really is and removing and illusions that he is a the dark romantic lead some viewers want him to be. Kate is a fascinating character. Someone who is resisting who she is almost as much as Joe is. Although I like where the season ended and would be fine if the show ended here I heard rumors there is another season and would be fine if Joe and Kate ran roughshot over another group of innocents.

19h agoGood watch. I was going to give 3 stars but then asked myself when did I start losing interest. Episodes 8-10. Lazy writing but I enjoyed majority of this show but it did not finish strong.

20h agoThe tone of the new season was very refreshing and entertaining. It took itself less seriously than other seasons while still holding a lot of weight to its plot points. It did a good job in making us root for Joe, while actually caring about the plot. Even if many situations were convenient it helped with the whole "whodunnit" theme. The twists were very unexpected and every episode was over the top in the best way possible.

1d agoThis season was deplorable. Awful characters, ludicrous plotlines, and very little to draw you in. I kept watching thinking it *must* get better. I was wrong. The only thing that saves it is the acting. I'll give it 1.5 stars for that.

1d agoLos últimos dos capitulos salvaron la temporada. You temporada 4, es el claro ejemplo de como una buena serie viene cuesta abajo por lo fines de lucro al querer alargar una trama que quedaba bien con un final no lejano.
-
2d agoThe big twist is too dumb
-
2d agoHated it. Cliche and boring
-
2d agoI have just witnessed an assassination and it's not the one this season is trying to solve. I watched Emily in Paris willingly and it still had a better plot than this season, jesus christ.
-
3d agoGenius. By episode 7 I was ready to quit because it all made no sense. By episode 8 it makes perfect sense. Yes, the fact that no police is called is the greatest flaw in the season, there is really no logic to that at all. But other than that the psychology is thrilling. I really hope for another season, because Joe needs to be stopped.
