Daniela Sea
In addition to acting, Daniela Sea has been a rock musician and a performance artist, and even worked for a spell as a fire juggler. Sea grew up in the beach city of Malibu, California, as well as in Hawaii and the Bay Area of California. The late 1990s saw Sea perform as a guitarist with the all-women "queercore" band, Cypher in the Snow, after which she traveled through Europe and Asia, including working in street theatre and her job as a fire juggler. After relocating to New York City, Sea began landing acting roles in the early 21st century, in motion pictures (2006's "Shortbus," 2007's "Itty Bitty Titty Committee," and 2009's "Don't Look Up"), as well as television (a role on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in 2009). During this time Sea landed her best-known role, as a regular on the television series "The L Word," with appearances in 44 episodes between 2006 through 2009, as the transgender character, Max/Moira Sweeney.
