Brian Mitchell
Brian Mitchell made a powerful presence not just in the world of professional football, but also in the entertainment business. He also appeared in the TV movie "Crossing to Freedom" (CBS, 1989-1990). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Mitchell held acting roles in films like "Buddy's Song" (1990). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the dramatic adaptation "Edward II" (1992) with Steven Waddington and the comedy "Vol-Au-Vent" (1996) with Dennis Waterman. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Covington Cross" (ABC, 1992-93). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "A Perfect Hero" (PBS, 1991-92) and "Sherlock Holmes: The Master Blackmailer" (PBS, 1992). He also lent his voice to "James Bond, Jr." (1991-93). Mitchell most recently acted in "12 in a Box" (2009).
