Cecilia Loftus was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Loftus began her career with roles in the Ann Harding remake "East Lynne" (1931) and "Young Sinners" (1931). Loftus began to focus on film after appearing in "The Old Maid" (1939), "It's a Date" (1940) and "Lucky Partners" (1940) with Ronald Colman. She also appeared in the Shirley Temple Black adaptation "The Blue Bird" (1940). Later in her career, Loftus acted in "The Black Cat" (1941). Loftus passed away in July 1953 at the age of 77.
