Gil Mellé
Gil Melle brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. His music also appeared on the television show "The Psychiatrist" (NBC, 1970-71). He followed this honor with songs in the thriller "You'll Like My Mother" (1972) with Patty Duke. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "The Andromeda Strain" in 1971. . In the seventies, Melle's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the drama "The Savage Is Loose" (1974) with George C Scott, "The Ultimate Warrior" (1975) and the Rock Hudson sci-fi feature "Embryo" (1976). His work was also in the thriller "The Sentinel" (1977) with Chris Sarandon. Melle most recently worked on "Night Owl" (Lifetime, 1992-93).
