Goffredo Alessandrini
Former assistant to Alessandro Blasetti who graduated to directing commercially successful films during the Mussolini years. Alessandrini also helmed a number of award-winning fascist propaganda films. His feature work slowed during the 1940s and petered out in the 50s, when he was involved in a supervisory capacity on several films directed (or completed) by others.
