Isaac Stern was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Stern kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Tonight We Sing" (1953) with David Wayne and "From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China" (1980). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Class of the 20th Century" (1991-92). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Marian Anderson" (1990-91), "Memory & Imagination: New Pathways to the Library of Congress" (PBS, 1991-92) and "Isaac Stern Talking With David Frost" (PBS, 1992-93). He also appeared in "Music of the Heart" (1999) with Meryl Streep. Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Jack Benny: Now Cut That Out!" (1996-97) and "The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra 60th Anniversary Gala" (PBS, 1996-97). Stern most recently appeared on "The Art of Violin" (PBS, 2001-02).
