Joel Keller Decider The Walking Dead: Dead City doesn’t really give the Walking Dead franchise anything new to examine. May 8, 2025 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba Ten years ago, Morgan brought scads of charisma and menace to the role. A decade later, the franchise has wrung it all out of him. He hung on too long. Now it feels like he’s trapped in the character. May 5, 2025 Full Review Amy West Total Film While it gets a little bogged down with too many characters, and sometimes prioritizes ambitious action sequences over cohesive storytelling, there's plenty here to enjoy... Rated: 3.5/5 May 2, 2025 Full Review Ricky Valero FandomWire Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohen make the writer's job easy as they consistently deliver within Negan and Maggie, making Season 2 well worthy of a watch. Rated: 7/10 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Matt Fowler IGN Movies There are still exciting moments here and there, but the most interesting part is just how much of a contrarian punk Hershel's become. Rated: 6/10 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Sarah Moran Screen Rant The Walking Dead: Dead City goes weirder in season 2, with more eccentric groups, all the while continuing its introspective look at Maggie and Negan. Augusto P The story doesn't really go anywhere, but there are some good lines here and there and E07 was really the best TWD thing in many years. Hershel's "Mommy doesn't understand me" plot was absolutely boring and unrealistic in a post-apocalyptic setting! But I think the season worth a watch just for the good interactions between Croat, Negan and Maggie. It's also nice to see Armstrong, Ginny and the general city atmosphere, with the characters all already pretty crazy after years of this life. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/25 Full Review Shaun P Fonzie jumped the shark, but Maggie jumped the bear. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/27/25 Full Review Joe G. 2/10 bad terrible boring Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/20/25 Full Review prawnda s do not watch this series, or any related series. there were some good episodes or seasons of walking dead back in the day, but no matter what new coat of paint they put on the franchise, it's always the same boring crap Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/12/25 Full Review Audience Member Episode 6 might be the worst piece of cinema I've ever experienced and I've seen a lot of shitty movies and/or series. The only good thing about this season is Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Everything from writing to acting is beyond mud level. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/11/25 Full Review Liam A Another great edge of seat season with many twists an turns breath taking performances by the characters we adore. Hopefully season 3 will be announced soon Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
