John Harvey was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Harvey's earliest roles were in film, including the musical "Four Jills in a Jeep" (1944) with Kay Francis, "Pin-Up Girl" (1944) and the mystery adaptation "The Spider" (1945) with Richard Conte. He also appeared in "Private Angelo" (1949), "The Man With My Face" (1951) with Barry Nelson and the Herbert Lom thrilling adaptation "The Phantom of the Opera" (1962). He continued to act in productions like "The Wrong Arm of the Law" (1962), the Peter Sellers comedy "Heavens Above!" (1963) and the George Peppard dramatic adaptation "The Blue Max" (1966). He also appeared in "A Challenge For Robin Hood" (1968) with Barrie Ingham. In the nineties, Harvey lent his talents to projects like "A Hard Rain" (Showtime, 1993-94), "The Last Shot" (Showtime, 1993-94) and "Hellfire" (Showtime, 1995-96). His credits also expanded to "Grosse Pointe Blank" with John Cusack (1997) and "Keepers of the Frame" with Alan Alda (1999). Harvey most recently worked on "The Myth" (Showtime, 2000-01).
