Johnnie Taylor
Johnnie Taylor built up his entertainment career by putting his musical skills to use in the world of Hollywood. In 1986, he made his final appearance on "Soul Train." Early in his entertainment career, Taylor's music was featured in films like the drama "Poetic Justice" (1993) with Janet Jackson and "Friends" (1995) with Kerry Fox. His music was also used in the comedy "One Fine Day" (1996) with Michelle Pfeiffer, the drama "She's So Lovely" (1997) with Sean Penn and the Brendan Fraser comedic fantasy "Bedazzled" (2000). Taylor was most recently credited in the drama "Baby Boy" (2001) with Tyrese Gibson. Taylor passed away in May 2000 at the age of 66.
