Kevin Iannotta
Kevin Iannotta got a quick, sharp start in the motion picture industry in his native Germany. While still a child, he was cast as one of the title characters in "Die wilden Kerle - Alles ist gut, solange du wild bist!," a hit 2003 movie about a scruffy band of kids playing in an underdog soccer team -- the "Savages" of the title. DNA likely played a role in Iannotta's winning the part; he had two brothers who were also actors, so apparently such talent ran in the family. He repeated his role of young Joschka in Die wilden Kerle 2" (2005), a sequel to the first film released soon thereafter. Still some time away from puberty, he won his first part in a TV movie, playing Luca in the romantic comedy fantasy "Mama und der Millionär." The pull of those persistent Savages was strong, however, so Iannotta's next film was the third title in the series " Die wilden Kerle 3." As the years went by, the youthful actor drifted away from his signature role as a soccer kid. Outside of reprising his role in further Savages sequels, he played Peter in the 2006 holiday-themed TV movie "Saving the Christmas Goose," for example, and in the same year voiced the part of Tim in "Urmel aus dem Eis," an animated movie about a talking dinosaur.
