Lewis Morton
Writer and producer Lewis Morton is joined at the hip with "Saturday Night Live" and its assorted cast members. He began his career with the venerable sketch-comedy series in 1993, writing episodes hosted by David Duchovny, Alec Baldwin, and Charlton Heston, among others. After leaving the show in 1995, Morton served as a writer for the underrated comedy series "NewsRadio," starring SNL alum Phil Hartman, "Kids in the Hall" funnyman Dave Foley, and the unpredictable Andy Dick. In 2002, Morton worked as a co-executive producer for the short-lived Judd Apatow series "Undeclared," a college comedy in the style of "Freaks and Geeks." The fine series starred Seth Rogen, Charlie Hunnam, and Timm Sharp; and it wouldn't be complete without a couple guest spots from SNL's Amy Poehler, as a dormitory's resident advisor. From 1999 on, Morton had producing and writing duties on the sci-fi cartoon comedy "Futurama." And in 2007 he was an executive producer on the biopic spoof "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," starring John C. Reilly, and featuring Kristen Wiig and Tim Meadows (both SNL).
