Patience Collier
British by birth, Patience Collier built her entertainment career as an actress in many successful Hollywood movies. Collier found her beginnings in film with roles in the drama "The Third Secret" (1964) with Richard Attenborough, "Baby Love" (1969) and the comedy "Every Home Should Have One" (1970) with Marty Feldman. Later, she acted in the Ursula Andress crime flick "Perfect Friday" (1970), the Topol dramatic adaptation "Fiddler on the Roof" (1971) and "Endless Night" (1972) with Hayley Mills. She also appeared in "The National Health" (1973) starring Lynn Redgrave"Come Back, Little Sheba" (NBC, 1977-78) and "The French Lieutenant's Woman" (1981) starring Meryl Streep. Later in her career, Collier worked on "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Series II" (PBS, 1985-86). Collier passed away in July 1987 at the age of 77.
