Ron West was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. West started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Miss Missouri" (1990) with Richard Anconina, the Kurt Russell action picture "Backdraft" (1991) and the John Goodman biographical drama "The Babe" (1992). He also starred in the TV movies "Good Night, Sweet Wife: A Murder in Boston" (CBS, 1990-91) and "The Kid Who Loved Christmas" (1990-91). In the nineties, West devoted his time to various credits, such as "Quick Witz" "Sour Grapes" (1998) starring Jack Burns and "The Effects of Magic" (1998) starring Robert Carradine. He continued to work in television through the early 2000s through the 2010s, appearing on "Grounded For Life" (2000-05), "The Tracy Morgan Show" (NBC, 2003-04) and "The Soul Man" (TV Land, 2011-). He also lent his distinctive voice to "Welcome to New York" (CBS, 2000-01). West most recently acted on "Blunt Talk" (Starz, 2014-16).
