Tammany Young was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Young kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "The Racing Strain" (1918), "Till We Meet Again" (1922) and "Gold Diggers of 1933" (1933). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "She Done Him Wrong" (1933) with Mae West. His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the drama "The Bowery" (1933) with Wallace Beery, "Tugboat Annie" (1933) and "It's a Gift" (1934) with W C Fields. He also appeared in the Adolphe Menjou musical "Little Miss Marker" (1934). Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in "The Old-Fashioned Way" (1934), the comedy "You're Telling Me" (1934) with W C Fields and the W C Fields comedy "Man on the Flying Trapeze" (1935). Young last acted in the crime flick "The Glass Key" (1935) with George Raft. Young passed away in April 1986 at the age of 100.
