Vincent Graton
Vincent Graton was born into performance art: his aunt was actress Francoise Graton, and his brother, Benoît, was also an actor. Many of the films and TV shows in which he acted were about disillusioned families and people. At the age of 23, Graton appeared in an experimental film called "Les Fleurs Sauvages." Graton then started acting for TV, appearing on the family drama "Le Parc des Braves." In 1987, he landed the role he's most known for, Florent Corbin, on the Canadian soap opera "L'Héritage." Even while coping with the demanding schedule of daytime TV, Graton enjoyed his most prolific acting period, managing to also appear on two other minor TV series. In 1991, he worked on two short films, "Le Complexe d'Edith" and "L'Empire des Lumiéres," after which he didn't work in the entertainment industry again until 1996, when he made several appearances on TV shows. In the early 2000s, he caught his second wind and began his longest running role on the witty urban drama "La Vie, la Vie." He married France Beaudoin around the same time, and has since had two children with her, in addition to two children from an earlier marriage. After becoming a family patriarch in real life, he also became a family patriarch on the soap opera "L'Auberge du Chien Noir." In 2011, he took on yet another new character, a police officer on the drama "19-2."
