Matt Neal Movies Ate My Life Feel sorry for Alex Hyde-White, the big screen's best Reed Richards, stuck in a film with the dubious honour of being so bad it was never released. Rated: 1.5/5 Nov 3, 2021 Full Review Alberto Abuín Espinof There is no conflict, there is no emotion, not the slightest interest in what happens to the characters. [Full Review in Spanish] Apr 22, 2020 Full Review Zaki Hasan Sequart It's clear that all involved put a lot of heart and effort into everything we see, but it's also clear that heart and effort only get you so far when the purse strings have been pulled tight. Nov 2, 2018 Full Review Leona Laurie Geek Girl Authority By far the best Fantastic Four movie so far. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy For all of its flaws, those forced by its outrageous poverty and those which were simple the result of sloppy B-filmmaking, it's still the best Fantastic Four feature in existence. Rated: 5/10 Jan 2, 2016 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed It's definitely one of my favorite bad films... Nov 24, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Tom S A decent and underrated adaptation that could have been better with a bigger budget. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Rami A I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed this movie. I think it's because the later Fantastic Four films from Fox were very disappointing. Unlike those films, this one actually seemed to have a clear direction. The Fox films seemed to be mixing too many genres and felt more like a Robot Chicken parody. This film told a good story, featured a good cast, good set design, and a good origin story. Plus, the score is great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Sam G Completely unwatchable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Raven J Saw the low quality version first before watching the A. I Remastered and although it is unfinished it is still worth watching and it is true to the original source material. There are decent edits of the film and I recommend watching the remastered edits on YouTube. I don't agree with top critics since the film really needs to be carefully looked at with an open mind. This is 2024 and not 1994. So bare in mind and expect it being like watching a 90s fantasy movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/22/24 Full Review matthias s Despite its notoriety, the 1994 "Fantastic Four" film has some redeeming qualities. I love the comic-accurate suits, and the cast and acting are decent. The story sticks closely to the comics, and it's possibly the best live-action Doctor Doom I've ever seen. The subplot with the Jeweler, however, is a distraction—he's not from the comics, and the focus should have stayed on Doctor Doom. The design of the Thing is impressive, and the effects, while dated, are decent. I went in with low expectations, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I don’t understand why this wasn't released; it’s a simple origin story with lots of heart and is enjoyable at best. Everything looks dated, but it has a certain charm. Overall, it’s a charming, simple B movie—nothing more, but certainly nothing less. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Speed G You'd have liked to see what this cast could have done with a $150 million budget. This is probably the best FF movie you could make for a mere million. The dialogue's actually really strong, and the performances are mostly very good. Even as it is, it's still better than "Eternals" or "The Marvels". (Hard to believe this came just 8 years prior to the first Tobey McGuire "Spider-Man".)
