Alan Ng Film Threat Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four is simply good old nostalgic fun. Rated: 7/10 Jul 21, 2025 Full Review Matt Neal Movies Ate My Life Feel sorry for Alex Hyde-White, the big screen's best Reed Richards, stuck in a film with the dubious honour of being so bad it was never released. Rated: 1.5/5 Nov 3, 2021 Full Review Alberto Abuín Espinof There is no conflict, there is no emotion, not the slightest interest in what happens to the characters. [Full Review in Spanish] Apr 22, 2020 Full Review Zaki Hasan Sequart It's clear that all involved put a lot of heart and effort into everything we see, but it's also clear that heart and effort only get you so far when the purse strings have been pulled tight. Nov 2, 2018 Full Review Leona Laurie Geek Girl Authority By far the best Fantastic Four movie so far. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy For all of its flaws, those forced by its outrageous poverty and those which were simple the result of sloppy B-filmmaking, it's still the best Fantastic Four feature in existence. Karisa W This movie has so much heart, tried so hard to be true to its comic source material, and the cast and crew put their all into the production. Don’t let the effects distract you and instead just appreciate the characters and the story, because if you focus on what might be deemed laughable, you’re missing out on a genuinely good movie that cares so much about what it’s doing. It feels like the early comics come to life and it’s just so sincere and lovely. This has quickly become one of my favorite movies and it deserves a far better rating and reputation than it’s been given. Please give this movie a chance with an open mind. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/04/25 Full Review Petros T For a low-budget superhero flick that only got screened once, saw no other official release, and - depending on whose story you listen to - was never meant to be released anyway, it's not awful. Yet, the acting is really weak (Doom's pantomime is puzzling), key character moments are ridiculous (the Thing's dramatic scenes and the two creepy romantic introductions take the cake), and apparently Susan is an accomplished seamstress but only goes up to XL (cue the Thing's cute little blue undies). Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Jelisije J With the budget this film had and the time it was made i got to be brutally honest....I expected so much worse. What we got was a commendable performance from all actors that was pure with its goal to be all corny and cheesy as possible. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Gamer_vic67 V For the story of the making of this movie and with the budget they had, this movie while not having a great special effects, the cast and crew really put a big effort on to making this movie. This was one hell of a movie if you think that it was never planed to be seen by a single soul. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/28/25 Full Review Nick R Yeah, the only people who like this are nostalgia seekers who this have nothing exciting going on in there lives. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/28/25 Full Review D3Z 1 I can pretty much tell why this adaptation of the Fantastic Four was considered unfavourable whether this was from the poor performances to a story that did not seem to have any interesting throughout the entire film.
