Despite its great special effects, this movie's predictability greatly undermines its intensity.

Korra N An uneven B-movie with some truly awesome effects, Virus is a bizarre sci-fi horror film that has great ideas and a decent story, but squanders them with ridiculous characters and dialogue. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Carlos T Filme: Vírus Assistido: 25-11-23 Elenco: @jamieleecurtis @donald_sutherland @thebillybaldwin Modelo: #suspense #thriller #ficção Duração: 1h 39m Ano: 1999 Minha opinião: Muitos gêneros de navios fantasma, alien, catástrofe, parasitas, aderiva, clássicos,...... No final quem vencerá? Terror que é um Terrorrrrr. Kkkkkkk Roteiro e enredo forçados. Vale apena assistir? Se você não tiver outra opção? It wasn't ground breaking or anything BUT it was more than competent, had a few really fun scenes AND the practical effects were great! Ignore the low score, this movie is fun for a good spooky horror night Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Cees T Alien cyborg ship horror with good effects. 6/10 - Okay. None of the characters were relatable. Watch Jurassic Park and/or The Matrix if you prefer to ponder. Philip Strick Sight & Sound Virus makes another loud and colourful case for the special-effects epidemic. Rated: C- Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Lisa Alspector Chicago Reader Until the diverting special effects take center stage, this story, about an alien intelligence that builds an army out of flesh and metal, pathetically exploits genre conventions without generating self-reference, camp, or thrills. Apr 25, 2007 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins It's no classic, but it's a fun little science-fiction horror film with creative creature effects and several noteworthy ideas - despite all the monster movie clichés. Rated: 6/10 Sep 25, 2020 Full Review Zena Dixon Dread Central It blew my mind to see some of the actors I love become these mechanical warriors who turn on their own friends. This is one of many reasons you should watch Virus. It's exhilarating. It's fun. Sep 7, 2018 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight "This is very stoopeed, Stevie." I must have repeated that line to myself a dozen times before this abysmal techno-thriller shuddered to a much-appreciated end. Rated: 1/5 Feb 2, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews
