It's a little slow to start, but has a creepy premise with a few excellent jump scares. Not your usual, run-of-the-mill horror film. Beats the 'The Grudge' anytime.

Save yourself some time. If you're a fan of the genre (especially the "Western Horror" subgenre) then this one is probably just going to disappoint. It's slowly paced - a common attribute of Westerns, so tolerable - but lacking scares when they finally come, which isn't a great combo.

Saw several recommendations for this from quarantined folks on r/horror as they all said it was very creepy (most saying it was scary) and that the plot was entertaining. I don't agree. I didn't find it to be creepy at all. The plot is serviceable, hence 2*, but the acting was noticeably weak at times, to the point it became a distraction. May be my expectations were too high... idk, but imo this was a low budget that felt too much like a low budget.
