This is the worst movie I could possibly ever see and nothing will beat this, in fact any film I watch will be Oscar compared to anything I will see than this pile of shit. The acting is just plain awful, had this been made as a YouTube video I might consider it a one star. How this got green lit is anyone's guess. Most of you will have never of heard of this but I was the unlucky one to be advertise that this actually exists and couldn't believe any film could be bad...and I was wrong, the special effects are horrible and tacky and make my video's master pieces. The plot was terrible and pointless and even with the most worse twist ever written, nothing could have this. Probably the only film I want my 58 minutes back. Avoid, please avoid or watch it just to see how bad this film really is. You won't believe your eyes. Fucking awful!!!! Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Granny is not only a legend in my house but probably the best in-joke between my Mother and I. Nothing can compare to this. How does this kind of movie get distributed at all? The acting is wooden, forced, hilarious. The Granny serial killer is merely a man dressed in drag wearing a Halloween mask, which actually I find really creepy but on a totally different level than Psycho. The musical score can only be described as just plain BAD, the repetitiveness of the cheaply produced snyths, like that of a basic Yamaha keyboard drag on and create no atmosphere to certain scenes. I've tried to research the making of this film but there's little to gain from doing so. I do know that two brothers (or perhaps cousins) traveled to America to make movies, using all of their life savings for this Granny flick. One of these named Tomo, some pop singer that seems somewhat successful. No word on Boris Pavslovsky though... Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Do you like 30 minutes of talking with characters that are only slightly interesting followed by a little bit of gore? Then this is the film for you! I've seen worse but the 30 minutes of characters sat in a room just talking goes beyond setting up the scene and goes into a farce when the actual feature is only 1 hour long. Afterwards the first killing is quite effective and thou the other killings vary in quality they do have an eeriee feeling about them but even then theres still to much time spent by characters running around waiting to be offed. The ending will be no surprise to anyone who has seen april fools day and the twist ending to be honest really makes little sense. You can see what they were trying for but it was more potent with the ending as it was, the twist ending makes it kinda goofy. If you fast forward through this it works a lot better and would have made a great 30 - 45 minute short but even at the hour mark it still feels like padding. Still at least the heart seems to be there and the characters are not 100 percent annoying like in some movies! But probably not worth rushing out to see this one thou you can buy it in a lot of the pound shops so if its your bag keep your eyes peeled!
