Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Although Burns is, of course, a beloved institution, and any opportunity to see him is welcome, he is not given much to do in the movie, and he doesn't do much with it. Glitched G 18 Again has its moments but the movie itself ultimately feels like a "BIG" rip-off. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/12/24 Full Review Audience Member Cute, predictable, watchable, but forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Of all the "switcheroo" movies of the 1980s, THIS IS THE BEST ONE. MUCH better than "Big", or the Dudley Moore flick or the other one. We get to see Charlie Schlatter act "18 again", and we get to hear George Burn's delightful voiceovers, as he shows the kids how it's done! Critics?? What do THEY know?? They liked "The English Patient" (ZzzzzzzZZZZZzzz) GIVE ME A BREAK. Charlie Schlatter pulls off an 81 year old in his body very very well, and it's a delight to watch him pull this off after all this time. Also, this movie has no loose ends, and things patch up between other members of the family also. Jennifer Runyon is also a delight. My movie buff friend watched this with me in 1996, and he agreed that this is FAR BETTER than "Big". 5 stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent comedy about a grandfather switching bodies with his grandson. This time it is breaking glass that causes the transfer. One has to feel for Russ, who loses a big pot in a poker game, the respect of his fraternity brothers, his girlfriend Robin and the Midwest Regional race. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Charlie Schlatter and George Burns are hilarious together! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member George Burns becomes a teen again. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
