Audience Member Unfocused biker film that features a few lengthly stretches with little dialogue. An Angels motorcycle gang member gets dusted just outside Kerr County. The rest of the gang send him away "with a little more class" by urinating on his coffin. I kept waiting for the bikers to settle the score with the town as they discussed but that never really materialized outside a brawl instigated by some of the locals. Instead the bikers help rescue a boy who fell down a mine shaft and make a new friend in the town funeral director who pops uppers and downers with them. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Between barroom brawls, assault and rape with the local citizens, a biker gang become heroes in saving a youth trapped in a mine. William Smith truly owns the biker role. Drags often with little actual plot or dialogue to work with but still ranks better than most of its biker film peers. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Angels Die Hard is a little too mild mannered compared to many biker movies Ive seen but it does have William Smith in it (& R G Armstrong) so it's able to hold a little more for me then just causal viewing. Those familiar w/ the genre will more then likely be a bit disappointed @ what this actually serves up & to be truthful it is a bit weak overall (hence why it didn't really get picked up until the 80s by New Line) but it does have it's moments. I liked when the funeral director they took on the road w/ them to bury their friend decides to mellow out & trip a bit w/ some pills. Personally I have never been one to dabble in the blue ones, the yellow ones & the white ones but sometimes in incidences like these I wish I had a little more disrespect for my body & mind. Im just not one for the chemical reaction risk. That's too bad because he looks like he was having a damn good time. Goddamn you Hollywood for glamorizing drugs!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member they live hard, they love hard, they die hard. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member ** (out of four) Even though he has made a bunch of lousy films, I've always thought that William Smith was an underrated and unique presence on the screen. Here he stars in a typical biker movie. He is the leader of a gang that torments and harasses a small town. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
