America F Great film! The leftists will hate it! Way too much truth
Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review Tanya A relatively efficient way to ‘read' a rather dense tome. Most reviewers, professional & amateur, can't separate their distaste for capitalism, presented so bluntly, from the movie itself. The latter is wanting - tries to be dramatic but seems cartoonish & - sheesh - a tacked-on love scene that is less sophisticated than even the cheesiest of soap operas. (C'mon, ladies - you say you want strong female characters but you get bored without the beefcake? Sure, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers but what an unnecessary distraction!). So go on, vilify the 1% & ignore this book's main message - you can fool yourself into thinking we don't need them but there's exactly a week's food & gas in my province - then it's anarchy. And this portrayal of it is pure saccharine. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review P M Terri le! Only reason I watch the whole thing is because I already devoted enough time on the first 2, I had to see it through. Who is John Gault? I wanted to know what happened to Hank? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/22/23 Full Review Audience Member In the final movie of this trilogy, we find out who is John Galt. We are fast approaching this scenario in the US. What is your fair share? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/24/23 Full Review Russ G OK, you thought Part 2 was bad but you had to see this trilogy through to the end? I made that mistake; please don't repeat it. Parts 1 and 2 dumped significant steaming piles on cinema history; this one adds the diarrhea. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Tyler C The worst in quality when it comes to the Atlas Shrugged Trilogy. While the film makers and cast do there best to tell the message that Ayn Rand set out to tell in her novel. The very low budget shows in the film when multiple cut-away voiceover messages are intercut throughout the film to fast track the plot. Ignatiy Vishnevetsky AV Club Prime Mystery Science Theater 3000 fodder, cut-rate to the point of incoherence. Rated: F Sep 24, 2014 Full Review Louis Black Austin Chronicle In 1949, when Warner Bros. filmed The Fountainhead, Rand threatened to burn down the studio if they compromised her novel. I'd like to think that if she were alive she'd be looking for lighter fluid for this one. Rated: 0.5/5 Sep 18, 2014 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety The prior installments weren't very good movies, and it should surprise few that this last one is the worst of the lot. Sep 16, 2014 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy With virtually nothing that happens onscreen resembling human behavior or emotion to any real extend, the film can't even function as propaganda. Rated: 2/10 Sep 17, 2014 Full Review Sean Burns Movie Mezzanine The favorite book of many young sociopaths you meet in business schools, it's all about a bunch of rich crybabies who don't want to share their toys so they break them and go home. Sep 16, 2014 Full Review Josh Bell Las Vegas Weekly Both the cheapest-looking and most narratively deficient film in the series, a rather pathetic end to a project undertaken with more ambition than talent.
