Courtney K ehhh this was fine. it's not great but its not horrible either. i don't think i'd go out of my way to recommend it to anyone else. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/04/23 Full Review Mu S É tão repetitivo e irritante, não tem nada que de susto, além de ser extremamente clichê. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/01/23 Full Review Roos S I read the reviews beforehand and still watched it because sometimes the 'bad' movies can still be enjoyable in their own right. This was not the case. There was very little story present and [minor spoiler territory upcoming] it got super repetitive because it was about a group of teens and the middle of the movie it was just a long sequence of their first encounters with the monster. At some point, it finally feels like there is more to the story, but that is short-lived. Although the idea of biggest fear monsters is not original, it can still be enjoyable when well executed. This was not. This was so bad that I almost thought it was a parody horror, but it wasn't funny enough to be that either. The acting is sub-par and the group has little to no chemistry. I don't know exactly why, but this movie just didn't pull me in for ANY of it. Also, the inconsistencies of the characters become super annoying. For example, someone says he doesn't download such things because he is very aware of data privacy and has even set up his own os to have an extra layer of protection, and then in the next scene he downloaded the app. [major spoiler:] then he dies because he 'forgot' this extra protection and then his solution for deleting the software doesn't work. I just cannot. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Reggie M It wasn't as bad as everyone is saying lol. Y'all didn't pay attention to the movie. The scenes that the "demon" was after Mitchell edwards were fire. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review robert p Wanna watch a horrible movie with clowns as the monsters? Ever since I was a kid, I had an unnatural fear of clowns. Not knowing there were clowns in this movie, I never should have watched it, but then again, I also get great satisfaction by saying "Phew, this movie stinks to high Heavan, thus my 1/2 star review. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This atrocity was more annoying than painful to sit through, and that wouldn't even be such a bad thing if it wasn't such a CHEAP looking film overall, as well as BORING. Every trope you can think of exists here, and again, those wouldn't be so bad if the film wasn't a complete bore, and you can't even take the film's entire concept or story seriously, given that everything about it looks like it was made by the same teens that star in it. It takes its entire "worst fears" gimmick (gee, I wonder WHAT inspired it) and does an absolutely abysmal job at executing them. They're not even so bad it's funny, it's just outright secondhand embarrassment. Don't believe me? One character here is terrified of white people (think of WHO that is), and when one white person appears before him, the form it takes is some "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" looking knock off with Party City Halloween eye shadow (and even THAT sounds scarier than what the movie gives you). Need another example? A girl says her biggest fear was an ugly looking teddy bear she won at a carnival, back when she was a kid (and they all say their biggest fears out loud to each other). Guess what the teddy bear looks like when it's her turn to die? Did you think some big, monstrous looking bear suit from Five Nights at Freddy's? You're giving this movie too much credit, and it's not even that ambitious either. Nope, it's literally the teddy bear she won, all aged up, tiny, and tormenting her with a squeaky voice and all. Yeah, a cheap looking teddy bear that you can get from the dollar store literally kills this girl, and you don't even get to see if she dies out of fear or if she gets butchered by it. And the guy in the poster? Mr Bedeviled? Yeah, don't expect to see him much in the film either. He appears only a handful of times, and the explanation to his existence is just as absurd as the deaths in this terrible movie. I wouldn't even recommend you watch this with friends, under any kind of drugs or alcohol. Watch Terrifier instead. At least that movie makes use of its concept to the fullest, AND it's entertaining (as stupid as it is). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John DeFore Hollywood Reporter A routine teen thriller with some deeply dumb plot points. Aug 13, 2017 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times "Bedeviled" ultimately embraces clichs rather the subverting them. The evil technology's up to date, but the storytelling's too old-fashioned. Aug 10, 2017 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts I really loved the concept but the deliver is all wrong. Rated: 3/10 Apr 22, 2021 Full Review Cameron Frew Flickering Myth The whole affair feels tiresomely empty, like a horror with no heart. It should have been a short film. Rated: 1/5 Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Directed by brothers Abel and Burlee Vang, this horror movie looks great and busts open a few old genre chestnuts, but it's also predictable, bland, and not all that scary.
