Judah Ben-Hur loses everything after his adopted brother Messala, now an officer in the Roman army, returns to Jerusalem and accuses the young prince of treason. The decision to film the major set-pieces in extreme close-up was ill-advised, and these murky and incoherent bits are further crippled by obvious CGI as well as rapid-fire editing that recalls those Ginsu blades in action on late-night infomercials.

After watching the original Ben-Hur I was skeptical however, open minded. Sadly it did not live up to the original rather it was weak and uninspiring. The story had some credibility but again weak and acted out from an average point of view. Trying to live up to the original Ben Hur was always going to be hard sadly in this case it did not come close, what a shame.

Ok if you have watched the Charlton Heston movie of Ben Hur, the tile falls on the Roman centurion horse , as the tile was loose, so Clearly it’s an accident , so he is not guilty, in this version , a child shoots an arrow to try and kill the Governor Pilate, on the same house of Ben Hur, so clearly Ben Hur is guilty for harboring a terrorist, so the whole move has no impact whatsoever, what vengeance can he have if he is in the wrong, when Masala imprisons him and his family , he is right in doing so !!!! So why I ask the Director of the movie change the narrative of this movie , Are you a terrorist and see you should not be punished for such behavior!!!! What a shocking Movie

The donkey died 🐴 🫏 plot was really raindom, jesus crucifixion wasnt acurate, love triangle was werid, forced to watch in class and couldnt see the dark scenes due to shitty projector, should have directed with sydney sweeny
