Peter Rainer FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's all rather standardized and cliché... But it's worth seeing, possibly because of Jared Harris' performance. Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Katie Walsh Tribune News Service The film is a loving tribute from a son to a father figure, but perhaps Deen is too close to the story to have much perspective on it. Rated: 2/4 Jan 27, 2025 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety A low-key inspirational indie that sensitively elicits empathy and sympathy without ever pushing too hard or simplifying complexities. Jan 24, 2025 Full Review Stephanie Malone Morbidly Beautiful The performances are stellar, and it’s easy to get swept up in this simple but powerful story of kindness and how much a single person can change your entire life.
